Sit & Go Tournaments
Sit & Go Tournaments work in the same way as Multi-Table Tournaments except that there is only one table to begin with - consisting of up to 10 players. With a maximum of 10 players taking part, the running time is usually less than an hour for a 10 player event. If time is short then Sit & Go Tournaments are advisable. Sit & Go Tournaments have no scheduled start time but begin once the table has filled up.
You can register for a Sit & Go Tournament until the table is full then it will automatically start. You will pay a set amount to enter the tournament so make sure you have funds available in your account.
You can view information about the tournament before it starts by clicking on the "Sit & Go" tab in the Poker Lobby. You can also find more information including:
- Current Number of Entrants
- Buy-In and Fee details
- Prize Structure
- Register / Unregister Option
Once the tournament starts, the registered players will be seated randomly at the table. When a player has no more chips remaining they will be eliminated from the competition.
As the tournament progresses the Betting Structure will increase meaning the forced amount (Blinds/Antes) will become larger.
If a player sits out during the tournament, their cards will be folded on every hand. However, their blinds and antes will continue to be forced into each pot until that player returns to the table.
The aim is to win all chips on that table. The payout structures for Sit & Go Tournaments are usually as follows:
- 10 Player : 1st - 50%, 2nd - 30%, 3rd - 20%
- 5 Player : 1st - 70%, 2nd - 30%
- 2 Player : 1st - 100%
Multi-Table Sit & Go Tournaments
Multi-Table Sit & Go Tournaments work very much the same way as a regular Sit & Go Tournament except with more tables. The payout structure for DTD Online Poker Multi-Table Sit & Go Tournaments is as follows:
- 3 tables (30 players): 1st - 40%, 2nd - 24%, 3rd - 16%, 4th - 12%, 5th - 6%
- 2 tables (20 players): 1st - 41%, 2nd - 29%, 3rd - 19%, 4th - 11%
If a player ranks in the prize money the funds will automatically be transferred in to their Poker account balance.
